Virus, Adware and Spyware

Malware is a composite term for malicious software, programs that are designed to attack, degrade or prevent the intended use of computers and networks.

Some versions of malware ('spyware' or 'adware') are used to pass information from your computers to third parties for various purposes; in the worst-case scenario to initiate fraudulent transactions, and in its most innocent form, to track the websites you visit and your web browsing habits.

Your computers need attention in order to remove all forms of malware and to be 'immunised' against future attempts to infect your system.

Even if you are not seeing any symptoms of malware today, this does not mean that you do not have a problem.
