Backing up your data

Creating backup copies of your data used to be a time-consuming and complicated process, easy to find an excuse for either not getting it right or not doing it at all.

With today's technology (and our dependence on our data) there are no more excuses, and the results of not making regular and appropriate backups can range from extremely inconvenient to disastrous.

The backup process can be totally automated, with the data copies being stored automatically off-site using an Internet connection.
Alternatively, a system using relatively inexpensive hardware and software can be implemented cheaply and easily.
Whichever backup system you implement, don't forget to try it out to make sure it works.
